Kevin Jonas accidentally sent a photo of his penis to a long-standing group chat on Tuesday.

The singer, who is 38 years old, shared the story during an episode of the Hey Jonas! podcast. He explained that he was in his bathroom getting ready for a shower. His phone captured a reflection of his crotch in a mirror situated below a television. The TV was displaying an announcement about New York Giants quarterback J.J. McCarthy starting the game.

The image went to a text thread dedicated to the football team. The chat has existed for 15 years. It includes Kevin's brothers, Nick and Joe Jonas. It also contains Alexander Noyes, the band's former drummer, and Rob Hoffman, a past photographer. Kevin did not notice the mirror reflection at first. He sent the picture to share the sports news.

Nick Jonas described the initial reaction to the photo. He said the group did not think much of it when the image first arrived. The confusion started when Kevin realized the error. He sent a rapid series of texts to the group. He wrote, "Guys delete the photo I'm sorry." He followed up with, "Cuck my life," and then simply "Fuck." He ended the sequence with, "Delete the thread fuck."

Joe Jonas was playing video games with Nick when the messages arrived. He looked at his brother and asked if Kevin had posted something he should not have seen. Nick called the series of texts legendary. Joe described them as the greatest series of messages. Rob Hoffman responded in the chat with several laughing emojis. Kevin then wrote, "I'm such a moron," and "Well."

Kevin said he threw his phone into the kitchen after seeing the mistake. His wife, Danielle, heard about the incident later. She responded with the words, "Oh no." Kevin described the event as a major source of trauma for him. He said he did not know how to begin explaining the situation to his brothers on the show.

The podcast episode aired on Tuesday. Kevin is the oldest of the three brothers. The group chat remains active with the original members. The photo has been discussed on the show. The brothers joked about the mirror placement in the bathroom. They noted that only the reflection of the crotch was visible in the frame.
